A-Imam Al-Sammak (firstname.lastname@example.org / email@example.com) retiredas associate professor, from Department of Electrical Engineering,University of Bahrain where has been also the chairman of the Department for four years. Main subjects taught was analog and digital communications, electric circuits, and electronics. He has published 39 Journal and conference papers and holds three patents in the area of electronics for digital communications. Dr Al-sammak acted as a reviewer for International conferences and journals (including IET Wireless sensor systems, IET Electronics Letters, IET communications and IEEE PACRIM conference). He has been a visiting scientist during four summers at University of Victoria, Canada and Purdue University, USA. He received a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Riyadh, Saudi), M.Sc. in Digital Communications Kent, UK), and a Ph.D. in Communications (Manchester, U.K). His current interest is in the digital communications area and Engineering Education. Dr. Al-Sammak is a charted engineer and member of IET (UK) and active member in Bahrain Society of Engineers where he was a board member for two years.
